Confusion

I know some people are confused because I was supposed to leave today and lo and behold I am not sitting in the Caribbean typing this right now but rather my ridiculously warm bedroom at home. So, here's what happened...

Wednesday night I got a text message from Romina saying that since the airport in Aruba is so small and is really busy this weekend, we can't take the bank's plane and all the commercial flights are booked. So, since them flying in and me flying out wasn't going to work this weekend we changed my ticket to next Friday (same time just a week later) and the family is going to go to the Dominican Republic this week and then meet me in Aruba on Friday. We'll stay for a night or two then head to Caracas.

And so, I have an extra week with my family and friends (but no bed).
